2008-12-22net: Remove unused netdev arg from some NAPI interfaces.Neil Horman
When the napi api was changed to separate its 1:1 binding to the net_device struct, the netif_rx_[prep|schedule|complete] api failed to remove the now vestigual net_device structure parameter. This patch cleans up that api by properly removing it.. Signed-off-by: Neil Horman <nhorman@tuxdriver.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2008-11-21qlge: fix sparse warningsStephen Hemminger
Fix sparse warnings and one bug: * Several routines can be static * Don't lose __iomem annotation * fix locking on error path (bug) Signed-off-by: Stephen Hemminger <shemminger@vyatta.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2008-11-21qlge: convert to net_device_opsStephen Hemminger
Convert driver to new net_device_ops. Compile tested only. Signed-off-by: Stephen Hemminger <shemminger@vyatta.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2008-11-03drivers/net: Kill now superfluous ->last_rx stores.David S. Miller
The generic packet receive code takes care of setting netdev->last_rx when necessary, for the sake of the bonding ARP monitor. Drivers need not do it any more. Some cases had to be skipped over because the drivers were making use of the ->last_rx value themselves. Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2008-10-27net: convert more to %pMJohannes Berg
A number of places still use %02x:...:%02x because it's in debug statements or for no real reason. Make a few of them use %pM. Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes@sipsolutions.net> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
2008-10-22qlge: Fix MSI/legacy single interrupt bug.Ron Mercer
The chip can issue spurious interrupts for single interrupt modes. We use disable to clear the condition and allow processing to continue. Also got rid of legacy specific code since it now needs to be done on MSI single irq also. Signed-off-by: Ron Mercer <ron.mercer@qlogic.com> Signed-off-by: Jeff Garzik <jgarzik@redhat.com>
2008-10-13qlge: Fix page size ifdef test.Ron Mercer
This ASIC does support all page sizes. For 4k and 8k page size the TX control block needs an external scatter gather list. For page sizes larger than 8k the max frags is satisfied by the original TX control block. Signed-off-by: Ron Mercer <ron.mercer@qlogic.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
