2006-09-25[ARM] 3817/1: iop3xx: split the iop3xx mach into iop32x and iop33xLennert Buytenhek
Split the iop3xx mach type into iop32x and iop33x -- split the config symbols, and move the code in the mach-iop3xx directory to the mach-iop32x and mach-iop33x directories. Signed-off-by: Lennert Buytenhek <buytenh@wantstofly.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-09-25[ARM] 3816/1: iop3xx: rename config symbolsLennert Buytenhek
Rename CONFIG_ARCH_IOP321 to CONFIG_ARCH_IOP32X and CONFIG_ARCH_IOP331 to CONFIG_ARCH_IOP33X. Signed-off-by: Lennert Buytenhek <buytenh@wantstofly.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-07-24[ARM] 3731/1: Allow IRQ definitions of IQ80331 and IQ80332 to co-existMartin Michlmayr
Patch from Martin Michlmayr ARCH_IQ80331 and MACH_IQ80332 can be enabled at the same time but a header file makes certain IRQ definitions conditional, leading to the following compilation error when both platforms are enabled: arch/arm/mach-iop3xx/iq80332-pci.c: In function 'iq80332_map_irq': arch/arm/mach-iop3xx/iq80332-pci.c:54: error: 'IRQ_IQ80332_INTA' undeclared (first use in this function) arch/arm/mach-iop3xx/iq80332-pci.c:54: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once arch/arm/mach-iop3xx/iq80332-pci.c:54: error: for each function it appears in.) arch/arm/mach-iop3xx/iq80332-pci.c:54: error: 'IRQ_IQ80332_INTB' undeclared (first use in this function) arch/arm/mach-iop3xx/iq80332-pci.c:54: error: 'IRQ_IQ80332_INTC' undeclared (first use in this function) arch/arm/mach-iop3xx/iq80332-pci.c:54: error: 'IRQ_IQ80332_INTD' undeclared (first use in this function) Signed-off-by: Martin Michlmayr <tbm@cyrius.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-06-24[ARM] 3631/1: Remove legacy __mem_isa() definitionsAndrew Victor
Patch from Andrew Victor Remove the remaining legacy __mem_isa() definitions for the ARM platforms. Signed-off-by: Andrew Victor <andrew@sanpeople.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-04-26Don't include linux/config.h from anywhere else in include/David Woodhouse
Signed-off-by: David Woodhouse <dwmw2@infradead.org>
2006-03-28[ARM] Fix decompressor serial IO to give CRLF not LFCRRussell King
As per the corresponding change to the serial drivers, arrange for ARM decompressors to give CRLF. Move the common putstr code into misc.c such that machines only need to supply "putc" and "flush" functions. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-03-21[ARM] Collect 8250-based debug implementations togetherRussell King
Several ARM machine implementations used an 8250 compatible port for debugging purposes, and indepdently implemented the low level debug macros every time. Provide a common implementation and convert these implementations to use this version. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-03-21[ARM] Move HZ definition into KconfigRussell King
Move the HZ definition into Kconfig, and set appropriate defaults for platforms. Remove mostly empty asm/arch/param.h include file. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-01-04[ARM] Remove definition of MAX_DMA_CHANNELS to zeroRussell King
Since we now only build arch/arm/kernel/dma.c on machine types which set ISA_DMA_API, we don't need to define MAX_DMA_CHANNELS to 0 to indicate this - this definition becomes superfluous. Remove it. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-01-04[ARM] Move common definition of MAX_DMA_ADDRESS to asm/dma.hRussell King
Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-01-03[ARM] Cleanup ARM includesRussell King
arch/arm/kernel/entry-armv.S has contained a comment suggesting that asm/hardware.h and asm/arch/irqs.h should be moved into the asm/arch/entry-macro.S include. So move the includes to these two files as required. Add missing includes (asm/hardware.h, asm/io.h) to asm/arch/system.h includes which use those facilities, and remove asm/io.h from kernel/process.c. Remove other unnecessary includes from arch/arm/kernel, arch/arm/mm and arch/arm/mach-footbridge. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-11-23[ARM] 3173/1: Fix to allow 2.6.15-rc2 to compile for IOP3xx boardsAdam Brooks
Patch from Adam Brooks Fixes an issue in 2.6.15-rc2 that prevented compilation of kernels for IOP3xx boards. Signed-off-by: Adam Brooks <adam.j.brooks@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-11-06[ARM] Fix another use of // as a commentRussell King
// disagrees with ld's script parsing ability. Don't use it. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-11-03[ARM] Fix another build error with IOP3xx platformsRussell King
ld doesn't like comments starting with // in its scripts Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-10-29[ARM] 3060/1: allow constants found in asm/memory.h to be used in asm codeNicolas Pitre
Patch from Nicolas Pitre This patch allows for assorted type of cleanups by letting assembly code use the same set of defines for constant values and avoid duplicated definitions that might not always be in sync, or that might simply be confusing due to the different names for the same thing. Signed-off-by: Nicolas Pitre <nico@cam.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-10-28[ARM] 1/4: Move include of asm/hardware.h to asm-arm/arch-*/io.hRussell King
Including asm/hardware.h into asm/io.h can cause #define clashes between platform specific definitions and driver local definitions. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-09-15[ARM] Remove PFN_TO_NID for !DISCONTIGMEMRussell King
Platform classes need not define PFN_TO_NID when DISCONTIGMEM is not selected. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-05-03[PATCH] ARM: cleanup vmalloc start/offset macrosRussell King
VMALLOC_START and VMALLOC_OFFSET are common between all ARM machine classes. Move them into include/asm-arm/pgtable.h, but allow a machine class to override them if required. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-04-16Linux-2.6.12-rc2Linus Torvalds
Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
