2005-09-05[ARM] 2882/1: pxa2xx_sharpsl: Update PCMCIA driver to support variety of new ↵Richard Purdie
hardware Patch from Richard Purdie This patch updates the PCMCIA pxa2xx_sharpsl driver to support multiple scoop devices by adding a scoop to pcmcia slot mapping structure. It adds platform support for poodle, is known to work on spitz (which is dual slot) and should also support collie with a minor amount of further work. 2005-09-04[ARM] Wrap calls to descriptor handlersRussell King
This is part of Thomas Gleixner's generic IRQ patch, which converts ARM to use the generic IRQ subsystem. Here, we wrap calls to desc->handler() in an inline function, desc_handle_irq(). This reduces the size of Thomas' patch since the changes become more localised. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-09-04[ARM] Change irq_chip wake/type methods to set_wake/set_typeRussell King
This is part of Thomas Gleixner's generic IRQ patch, which converts ARM to use the generic IRQ subsystem. Here, we rename two of the irq_chip methods - wake becomes set_wake, and type becomes set_type. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-09-04[ARM] Fix compilation in locomo.cPavel Machek
Do not access children in struct device directly, use device_for_each_child helper instead. It fixes compilation. Signed-off-by: Pavel Machek <pavel@suse.cz> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

2005-06-22[PATCH] ARM: Use list_for_each_entry() for dmabounceRussell King
Convert dmabounce.c to use list_for_each_entry() instead of list_for_each() + list_entry(). Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

2005-06-20[PATCH] ARM: Ensure DMA-bounced buffers are properly written to RAMRussell King
When DMA bounce buffers were unmapped and the data was memcpy'd to the original buffer, we were not ensuring that the data was written to RAM. This means that there was the potential for page cache pages to have different cache states depending whether they've been bounced or not. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-04-30[PATCH] ARM: RTC: allow driver methods to return errorRussell King
Allow RTC drivers to return error codes from their read_time or read_alarm methods. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk@arm.linux.org.uk>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
