2007-10-31[ARM] pxa: shut up CLOCK_EVT_MODE_RESUME warningRussell King
Resolve: CC arch/arm/mach-pxa/time.o arch/arm/mach-pxa/time.c: In function `pxa_osmr0_set_mode': arch/arm/mach-pxa/time.c:154: warning: enumeration value `CLOCK_EVT_MODE_RESUME' not handled in switch Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2007-10-12[ARM] pxa: make pxa timer initialisation select clock rate at runtimeRussell King
Rather than using the compile-time constant CLOCK_TICK_RATE, select the clock tick rate at run time. We organise the selection so that PXA3 automatically falls out with the right tick rate. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2007-10-12[ARM] 4550/1: sched_clock on PXA should cope with run time clock rate selectionNicolas Pitre
The previous implementation was relying on compile time optimizations based on a constant clock rate. However, support for different PXA flavors in the same kernel binary requires that the clock be selected at run time, so here it is. Let's move this code to a more appropriate location while at it. 2007-07-22[ARM] 4507/1: pxa2xx clock_event_deviceBill Gatliff
Reimplements arch/arm/mach-pxa/time.c using a clock_event_device based on OSMR0. Tested on PXA270, linux-2.6.22+arm:pxa patches. Signed-off-by: Bill Gatliff <bgat@billgatliff.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2007-07-12[ARM] pxa: remove boot time RTC initialisationRussell King
The RTC library code contains everything necessary to set the system time from the RTC; for similar reasons as the previous commit, it's far better to let the RTC library code sort this out rather than implement something which might not be appropriate for everyone. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2007-05-08Add IRQF_IRQPOLL flag on armBernhard Walle

2007-02-16[PATCH] clocksource: fixup is_continous changes on ARMThomas Gleixner
Fixup the is_contionous replacement by a flag field. 2006-12-30[ARM] 4064/1: make pxa_get_cycles() staticNicolas Pitre
... and fix a comment as well. Signed-off-by: Nicolas Pitre <nico@cam.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-12-13[ARM] 4012/1: Clocksource for pxaSascha Hauer
Add a clocksource driver for pxa2xx systems Signed-off-by: Luotao Fu <lfu@pengutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Nicolas Pitre <nico@cam.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2006-11-30[ARM] 3940/1: don't reset PXA2xx clock counterNicolas Pitre
Don't reset OSCR to zero as this prevents us from having a contiguous time source. The value returned by sched_clock() is reset to zero in the middle of the boot process otherwise, making CONFIG_PRINTK_TIME rather messed up. 2006-10-06Initial blind fixup for arm for irq changesLinus Torvalds
Untested, but this should fix up the bulk of the totally mechanical issues, and should make the actual detail fixing easier. Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
2006-07-02[PATCH] ARM: fixup irqflags breakage after ARM genirq mergeThomas Gleixner
The irgflags consolidation did conflict with the ARM to generic IRQ conversion and was not applied for ARM. Fix it up. Use the new IRQF_ constants and remove the SA_INTERRUPT define Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>

2005-11-08[ARM] 3135/1: harden SA11x0 and PXA2xx timer init codeNicolas Pitre
Patch from Nicolas Pitre Make it completely deterministic and leave nothing to chance (even if it had at worst 0.001% probability of failing). Signed-off-by: Nicolas Pitre <nico@cam.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

2005-06-26[PATCH] ARM: Add SA_TIMER flag to timer interruptsRussell King
VST needs to know which timer handler is for the timer interrupt. Mark all timer interrupts with the SA_TIMER flag. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
