2008-08-07[ARM] Move include/asm-arm/arch-* to arch/arm/*/include/machRussell King
This just leaves include/asm-arm/plat-* to deal with. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-08-07[ARM] Remove asm/hardware.h, use asm/arch/hardware.h insteadRussell King
Remove includes of asm/hardware.h in addition to asm/arch/hardware.h. Then, since asm/hardware.h only exists to include asm/arch/hardware.h, update everything to directly include asm/arch/hardware.h and remove asm/hardware.h. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-07-15[ARM] S3C24XX: s3c243xx_clock_register() data can be __initdataBen Dooks
Any data being passed to s3c243xx_clock_register() can be marked as __initdata as it is an array of pointers to 'struct clk' that are to be registered on initialisation. The s3c243xx_clock_register function uses this array to register clocks and does not require it to stay around after exit. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
2008-07-03[ARM] OSIRIS: Add i2c device list to Simtec OsirisBen Dooks
Add an i2c board information initialisers to the board to define which devices are present. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org>
2008-04-17[ARM] 4986/1: S3C24XX: Simtec machines need UCLK as parent to DCLKBen Dooks
All current Simtec designs source the DCLK outputs from the UPLL. This means the DCLK's parent must be set to UPLL so that anything enabling and disabling an UPLL sourced clock does not shutdown the DCLK due to missing open counts. 2008-01-24Driver core: change sysdev classes to use dynamic kobject namesKay Sievers
All kobjects require a dynamically allocated name now. We no longer need to keep track if the name is statically assigned, we can just unconditionally free() all kobject names on cleanup. Signed-off-by: Kay Sievers <kay.sievers@vrfy.org> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>
2007-10-05[ARM] 4598/2: OSIRIS: Ensure we do not get nRSTOUT during suspendBen Dooks
Ensure nRSTOUT is not asserted during or on resume. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2007-10-05[ARM] 4597/2: OSIRIS: ensure CPLD0 is preserved after suspendBen Dooks
Ensure that CPLD is restored to the original state on resume, and that before going into suspend we select the NAND bank we booted from for restarting. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2007-07-22[ARM] 4508/1: S3C: Move items to include/asm-arm/plat-s3cBen Dooks
This patch moves items of the s3c24xx support into a new plat-s3c directory for items that use the s3c24xx support but are not directly s3c24xx compatible, such as the s3c2400 and s3c6400. git mv commands: git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/iic.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/iic.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/nand.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/nand.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/regs-iic.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/regs-iic.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/regs-nand.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/regs-nand.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/regs-rtc.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/regs-rtc.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/regs-serial.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/regs-serial.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/regs-timer.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/regs-timer.h git mv include/asm-arm/arch-s3c2410/regs-watchdog.h include/asm-arm/plat-s3c/regs-watchdog.h Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2007-07-12[ARM] 4470/2: OSIRIS: large page NAND supportBen Dooks
Add support for the partition layout on the revision B modules which have large page NAND fitted. The new partition table accounts for the use of the 128KiB block parts, which means the second partition on the device is moved to the new boundary. 2007-06-11[ARM] 4444/2: OSIRIS: CPLD suspend fixBen Dooks
Ensure the CPLD 8bit settings are preserved over a suspend/resume cycle as the CPU sends a hard-reset at resume time. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2007-06-11[ARM] 4443/1: OSIRIS: Add watchdog device to machine devicesBen Dooks
Add the watchdog timer to the list of devices the Osiris registers at startup. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2007-06-11[ARM] 4442/1: OSIRIS: Fix CPLD register definitionsBen Dooks
Fix the CPLD register definitions to correctly mirror the documentation Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

2007-04-21[ARM] 4325/1: S3C24XX: remove s3c24xx_boardBen Dooks
Remove the use of struct s3c24xx_board as this is just as easily done by using the platform device registration functions to make the initialisation sequence easier. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2007-04-21[ARM] 4324/1: S3C24XX: remove clocks from s3c24xx_boardBen Dooks
Remove the clocks from the s3c24xx_board as part of the process of simplifying the initialisation sequence by removing struct s3c24xx_board. Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben-linux@fluff.org> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2007-02-11[ARM] 4157/2: S3C24XX: move arch/arch/mach-s3c2410 into cpu componentsBen Dooks
The following patch and script moves the arch/arm/mach-s3c2410 directory into arch/arm/plat-s3c24xx for the generic core code and inti arch/arm/mach-s3c{cpu} for the cpu/machine support files Include directory include/asm-arm/plat-s3c24xx is added for the core include files.
