2009-12-06ARM: 5821/1: SA1100: h3100/h3600: revise copyright boilerplatesDmitry Artamonow
Correct boilerplates after files split. Also shorten them a bit - use standart GPL wording (as per http://lkml.org/lkml/2007/5/1/220) and drop changelog, which only entry about h3800 support and abstracted EGPIOs is just confusing now, as both of these features are gone. Signed-off-by: Dmitry Artamonow <mad_soft@inbox.ru> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2009-12-06ARM: 5820/1: SA1100: h3100/h3600: split h3600.cDmitry Artamonow
Split common h3600.c into three separate files: h3100.c, h3600.c and h3xxx.c (the latter contains common code for h3100/h3600) Copyright boilerplates and #includes are copied intact and will be cleaned up later. Signed-off-by: Dmitry Artamonow <mad_soft@inbox.ru> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2009-12-06ARM: 5819/1: SA1100: h3100/h3600: merge h3600.h and h3600_gpio.h into h3xxx.hDmitry Artamonow
Combine both headers into one, rename to h3xxx.h and change all users accordingly. Signed-off-by: Dmitry Artamonow <mad_soft@inbox.ru> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2009-12-06ARM: 5818/1: SA1100: h3100/h3600: drop old GPIO definitionsDmitry Artamonow
As all existing code was converted to gpiolib, drop no more used pre-gpiolib (bit-shifted) GPIO definintions. Supply new gpiolib-friendly definitions for GPIOs which don't have them yet. Signed-off-by: Dmitry Artamonow <mad_soft@inbox.ru> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2009-12-06ARM: 5816/1: SA1100: h3600: remove IRQ_GPIO_* definitionsDmitry Artamonow
As all the remaining users of these definitions (in pcmcia/sa1100_h3600 driver) were converted to gpio_to_irq(), they can be safely removed. Signed-off-by: Dmitry Artamonow <mad_soft@inbox.ru> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2009-12-06ARM: 5815/1: SA1100: h3100/h3600: remove now unused assign_h3600_egpio handlersDmitry Artamonow
As all users of assign_h3600_egpio now converted to gpiolib, we can safely remove all assign_h3600_egpio handling code and definitions. Signed-off-by: Dmitry Artamonow <mad_soft@inbox.ru> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2009-12-06ARM: 5813/1: SA1100: h3100/h3600: add htc-egpio driverDmitry Artamonow
It will be used for future conversion of assign_h3600_egpio calls to gpiolib. Signed-off-by: Dmitry Artamonow <mad_soft@inbox.ru> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2009-12-06ARM: 5798/1: SA1100: h3600: remove unused cruft from h3600.hDmitry Artamonow
PM_SUSPEND, PM_RESUME and machine_is_h3xxx() are not used anywhere in kernel (checked with git grep), so it's safe to remove them. Signed-off-by: Dmitry Artamonow <mad_soft@inbox.ru> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2009-12-06ARM: iPAQ: move serial port support functionsRussell King
No point calling sa1100_register_uart_fns early - these aren't used until late in the boot sequence. Also convert to gpiolib support. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2009-12-06ARM: iPAQ: convert H3100 IrDA to use generic gpio supportRussell King
Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2009-11-27collie: convert to gpiolib for ucb1x00Thomas Kunze
Only the parts used for collie_battery are converted. The rest will be cleaned up later.
2009-11-27add gpiolib support to ucb1x00Thomas Kunze
The old access methods to the gpios will be removed when all users has been converted. (mainly ucb1x00-ts)
2009-11-27SA1100: make gpio_to_irq and reverse a macroThomas Kunze
The function can't be used for static initialisations so convert them to macros.
2009-11-27collie: prepare for gpiolib useThomas Kunze
prefix gpio definitions for direct register access with '_' so we can use the other names for gpio_request & co

2009-03-19[ARM] pass reboot command line to arch_reset()Russell King
OMAP wishes to pass state to the boot loader upon reboot in order to instruct it whether to wait for USB-based reflashing or not. There is already a facility to do this via the reboot() syscall, except we ignore the string passed to machine_restart(). This patch fixes things to pass this string to arch_reset(). This means that we keep the reboot mode limited to telling the kernel _how_ to perform the reboot which should be independent of what we request the boot loader to do. 2009-03-15[ARM] 5427/1: h3600: ipaq_model_ops final cleanupDmitry Artamonow
Since now ipaq_model_ops used only for accessing h3600 EGPIOs, drop it completely and use assign_h3600_egpio() directly. Signed-off-by: Dmitry Artamonow <mad_soft@inbox.ru> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2009-03-15[ARM] 5426/1: h3600: remove clr_h3600_egpio/set_h3600_egpio helpersDmitry Artamonow

2008-12-29[ARM] rtc-sa1100: don't assume CLOCK_TICK_RATE to be a constantEric Miao
As Nicolas and Russell pointed out, CLOCK_TICK_RATE is no more a constant on PXA when multiple processors and platforms are selected, change TIMER_FREQ in rtc-sa1100.c into a variable. Since the code to decide the clock tick rate is re-used from timer.c, introduce a common get_clock_tick_rate() for this. 2008-11-30[ARM] Add a common typesafe __io implementationRussell King
As Al did for Versatile in 2ad4f86b60b649fd7428265c08d73a3bd360c81b, add a typesafe __io implementation for platforms to use. Convert platforms to use this new simple typesafe implementation. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-11-28[ARM] remove a common set of __virt_to_bus definitionsNicolas Pitre
Let's provide an overridable default instead of having every machine class define __virt_to_bus and __bus_to_virt to the same thing. What most platforms are using is bus_addr == phys_addr so such is the default. One exception is ebsa110 which has no DMA what so ever, so the actual definition is not important except only for proper compilation. Also added a comment about the special footbridge bus translation. Let's also remove comments alluding to set_dma_addr which is not (and should not) be commonly used. Signed-off-by: Nicolas Pitre <nico@marvell.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2008-10-17ide: remove dead <asm-arm/arch-sa1100/ide.h>Bartlomiej Zolnierkiewicz
