This fixes coverity bug id #473. After the for loop i==16 if we didn't find a cdrom. So we should check for i==16 first before checking the array element. add @uptodate argument to end_that_request_last() and @error to rq_end_io_fn(). there's no generic way to pass error code to request completion function, making generic error handling of non-fs request difficult (rq->errors is driver-specific and each driver uses it differently). this patch adds @uptodate to end_that_request_last() and @error to rq_end_io_fn(). for fs requests, this doesn't really matter, so just using the same uptodate argument used in the last call to end_that_request_first() should suffice. imho, this can also help the generic command-carrying request jens is working on. 2005-09-10[PATCH] vfree and kfree cleanup in drivers/Jesper Juhl
This patch does a full cleanup of 'NULL checks before vfree', and a partial cleanup of calls to kfree for all of drivers/ - the kfree bit is partial in that I only did the files that also had vfree calls in them. The patch also gets rid of some redundant (void *) casts of pointers being passed to [vk]free, and a some tiny whitespace corrections also crept in. `gcc -W' likes to complain if the static keyword is not at the beginning of the declaration. This patch fixes all remaining occurrences of "inline static" up with "static inline" in the entire kernel tree (140 occurrences in 47 files). While making this change I came across a few lines with trailing whitespace that I also fixed up, I have also added or removed a blank line or two here and there, but there are no functional changes in the patch. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
