compilation
As reported by Ingo Molnar:
Here's another new build breakage that triggers in -tip testing:
drivers/built-in.o:(.data+0xb1f40): undefined reference to `dib0070_ctrl_agc_filter'
drivers/built-in.o:(.data+0xb1f80): undefined reference to `dib0070_ctrl_agc_filter'
triggers due to:
CONFIG_DVB_USB_DIB0700=y
CONFIG_DVB_TUNER_DIB0070 is not set
While working on a better approach, for now, let's just select tuner
dib0070 anytime we compile dib0700.

This patch adds driver for 774 Friio White, ISDB-T USB receiver
Friio White is an USB 2.0 ISDB-T receiver. (http://www.friio.com/)
The device has a GL861 chip and a Comtech JDVBT90502 canned tuner module.
This driver ignores all the frontend_parameters except frequency,
as ISDB-T shares the same parameter configuration across the country
and thus the device can work like an intelligent one.
As this device does not include a CAM nor hardware descrambling feature,
the driver passes through scrambled TS streams.
There is Friio Black, a variant for ISDB-S, which shares the same USB
Vendor/Product ID with White, but it is not supported in this driver.
They should be identified in the initialization sequence,
but this feature is not tested.

There are several Kconfig items using CUSTOMIZE. Yet, most use the English
writing CUSTOMISE. This generates lots of trouble, because people sometimes type
the Kbuild item different.
Let's standardise every occurrence using the same syntax.
The changes were generated by this small shell script:
for i in `find linux -type f`; do sed s,CUSTOMIZE,CUSTOMISE,g $i >/tmp/a && mv /tmp/a $i; done

There was never any build-time dependency of the dib0700 usb module on the
dib0070 tuner module. Now that the build-time dependencies of dib0700 on
dib3000mc, dib7000p and dib7000m have been removed in the previous changesets,
we can enable DVB_FE_CUSTOMISE for these modules under config DVB_USB_DIB0700

When the tuner modules were moved to common/tuners, a separate customize
option were added for tuners. However, the automatic selection of the
tuners were still using the older option.
This causes that the automatic selection to fail, if DVB_FE_CUSTOMISE is
selected. Also, since those tuners are now under MEDIA_TUNER_CUSTOMIZE
menu, if you unset MEDIA_TUNER_CUSTOMIZE, you can't manually select the
tuners.
This patch fixes this error by replacing DVB_FE_CUSTOMISE by
MEDIA_TUNER_CUSTOMIZE on all places were a tuner is selected.
The patch were generated by this small script:
for i in `find drivers/media -name Kconfig`; do
cat $i|perl -ne 's/(MEDIA_TUNER.*)DVB_FE_CUSTOMISE/\1MEDIA_TUNER_CUSTOMIZE/; print $_' >a
mv a $i
done
Also, manually reordered the tuner entries.

(rev 2)
Add support for revision 2 of the DViCO FusionHDTV DVB-T Dual Digital 4
which has new tuners and demodulators (2 x DIB7070p). With this patch
both DVB reception and IR works.
The dib7000p driver currently hardwires the output mode to
OUTMODE_MPEG2_SERIAL regardless of what we ask for. Modify it to allow
OUTMODE_MPEG2_PAR_GATED_CLK to be set. Longer term we should remove the
check completely and set the output mode correctly in all the callers.
Add Kconfig bits to ensure the dib7000p and dib0070 modules are enabled.
It would be nice to only do this for the !DVB_FE_CUSTOMISE case, but
this is what the other DIB7070 module does (there are a number of
module dependencies in the attach code).

testing of the -tip tree found the following build failures on
2.6.26-rc3:
drivers/built-in.o: In function `ttusb_dec_disconnect':
ttusb_dec.c:(.text+0xa2c95): undefined reference to `input_unregister_device'
drivers/built-in.o: In function `dvb_usb_read_remote_control':
dvb-usb-remote.c:(.text+0xa6a94): undefined reference to `input_event'
with this config:
http://redhat.com/~mingo/misc/config-Tue_May_20_03_48_57_CEST_2008.bad
these are due to the media/dvb/usb layer having dependencies on INPUT
functionality, without having that spelled out in the Kconfig file.
this patch makes that dependency explicit (for the drivers affected),
which solves the build error.

Since:
1) FW_LOADER is defined as:
config FW_LOADER
tristate "Userspace firmware loading support"
depends on HOTPLUG
2) several V4L/DVB driver just selects it;
3) select is not smart enough to auto-select HOTPLUG, if select FW_LOADER.
So, All drivers that select FW_LOADER should also depend on HOTPLUG.
An easier solution (for the end-user perspective) would be to "select HOTPLUG".
However, live is not simple. This would cause recursive dependency issues like
this one:
drivers/usb/Kconfig:62:error: found recursive dependency: USB -> USB_OHCI_HCD
-> I2C -> MEDIA_TUNER -> MEDIA_TUNER_XC2028 -> HOTPLUG -> PCCARD -> PCMCIA ->
USB_ARCH_HAS_HCD -> MOUSE_APPLETOUCH -> USB

The code of the dvb-pll driver and the lgh06xf driver is nearly
identical. The main difference is that the lgh06xf driver would set the
AGC TOP value on every tune call. The dvb-pll driver now has the ability
to set the AGC TOP when the front-end device is opened, which is a better
way to go about it. By using this ability of dvb-pll, the lgh06xf driver
is made unnecessary.
There is one other difference. dvb-pll will probe for the presence of an
I2C pll chip by doing a one byte read, the lgh06xf driver did not do
this. In some devices the PLL is not reachable over I2C at the timer the
tuner is attached. Some more initialization, such as firmware loading,
must take place first. None of the devices using a LG-H06xF should have
this problem.
