2006-11-30[MTD] Remove trailing whitespaceDavid Woodhouse
The newly-added cafe_ecc.c had a lot of it because of the way the lookup table was auto-generated; clean up the other files too while we're at it. Signed-off-by: David Woodhouse <dwmw2@infradead.org>
2006-10-03fix file specification in commentsUwe Zeisberger
Many files include the filename at the beginning, serveral used a wrong one. Signed-off-by: Uwe Zeisberger <Uwe_Zeisberger@digi.com> Signed-off-by: Adrian Bunk <bunk@stusta.de>
2005-11-09[DRIVER MODEL] Convert platform drivers to use struct platform_driverRussell King
This allows us to eliminate the casts in the drivers, and eventually remove the use of the device_driver function pointer methods for platform device drivers. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk> Acked-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>

Some manual fixups for clashing kfree() cleanups etc.
2005-11-07[PATCH] kfree cleanup: drivers/mtdJesper Juhl
This is the drivers/mtd part of the big kfree cleanup patch. Remove pointless checks for NULL prior to calling kfree() in drivers/mtd/. Manual #include fixups for clashes - there may be some unnecessary
2005-10-30[PATCH] fix missing includesTim Schmielau
I recently picked up my older work to remove unnecessary #includes of sched.h, starting from a patch by Dave Jones to not include sched.h from module.h. This reduces the number of indirect includes of sched.h by ~300. Another ~400 pointless direct includes can be removed after this disentangling (patch to follow later). However, quite a few indirect includes need to be fixed up for this. In order to feed the patches through -mm with as little disturbance as possible, I've split out the fixes I accumulated up to now (complete for i386 and x86_64, more archs to follow later) and post them before the real patch. This way this large part of the patch is kept simple with only adding #includes, and all hunks are independent of each other. So if any hunk rejects or gets in the way of other patches, just drop it. My scripts will pick it up again in the next round. 2005-10-29Create platform_device.h to contain all the platform device details.Russell King
Convert everyone who uses platform_bus_type to include linux/platform_device.h. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk> Acked-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>
2005-09-29[ARM] Don't include mach-types.h unnecessarilyRussell King
It's pointless to include mach-types.h if you're not going to use anything from it. These references were removed as a result of: grep -lr 'asm/mach-types\.h' . | xargs grep -L 'machine_is_\|MACH_TYPE_\|MACHINE_START\|machine_type' Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2005-05-23[MTD] bast-flash partitions fixupBen Dooks
Ensure the whole device is added if there are no partitions found on the device, so that at least the flash can be read/written. Replace some of the constants with their SZ_xxx counterparts Signed-off-by: Ben Dooks <ben@simtec.co.uk> Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
