2007-03-14[PATCH] atl1 trivial endianness misannotationsAl Viro
NB: driver is choke-full of code that will break on big-endian; as long as the hardware is onboard-only we can live with that, but sooner or later that'll need fixing. 2007-03-02[VLAN]: Avoid a 4-order allocation.Dan Aloni
This patch splits the vlan_group struct into a multi-allocated struct. On x86_64, the size of the original struct is a little more than 32KB, causing a 4-order allocation, which is prune to problems caused by buddy-system external fragmentation conditions. I couldn't just use vmalloc() because vfree() cannot be called in the softirq context of the RCU callback. 2007-02-17atl1: read MAC address from registerJay Cliburn
On some Asus motherboards containing the L1 NIC, the MAC address is written by the BIOS directly to the MAC register during POST, and is not stored in eeprom. If we don't succeed in fetching the MAC address from eeprom or spi, try reading it directly from the MAC register. Suggested by Xiong Huang. And do some cleanup while we've got the hood up...
