2010-01-26mac80211: wait for beacon before enabling powersaveJohannes Berg
Because DTIM information is required for powersave but is only conveyed in beacons, wait for a beacon before enabling powersave, and change the way the information is conveyed to the driver accordingly. mwl8k doesn't currently seem to implement PS but requires the DTIM period in a different way; after talking to Lennert we agreed to just have mwl8k do the parsing itself in the finalize_join work. 2009-11-18wl1251: Implement delayed entry into ELP modeJuuso Oikarinen
Implement (slightly) delayed entry into ELP. In SDIO, the host driver requests the IRQ and invokes a callback to the card driver. This differs from SPI, so the relevant code needs to be interface-specific. This patch pushes the irq code down into _spi.c and _sdio.c, and adds enable/disable callbacks. This change moves all of the spi specific code from main.c into spi.c. The module initialization code also moves, but common code for initializing mac80211 etc. stays in main.c, as this will eventually form a common library module also used by wl1251_sdio. Doing this will allow SDIO to coexist with SPI by supplying its own I/O routines. wl12xx is a driver for TI wl1251 802.11 chipset designed for embedded devices, supporting both SDIO and SPI busses. Currently the driver supports only SPI. Adding support 1253 (the 5 GHz version) should be relatively easy.
