2007-05-08ext3: copy i_flags to inode flags on writeJan Kara
Propagate flags such as S_APPEND, S_IMMUTABLE, etc. from i_flags into ext2-specific i_flags. Hence, when someone sets these flags via a different interface than ioctl, they are stored correctly. 2006-12-07[PATCH] protect ext2 ioctl modifying append_only immutable etc with i_mutexAndrew Morton
Port commit a090d9132c1e53e3517111123680c15afb25c0a4 into ext2: All modifications of ->i_flags in inodes that might be visible to somebody else must be under ->i_mutex. That patch fixes ext2 ioctl() setting S_APPEND. Cc: Al Viro <viro@zeniv.linux.org.uk> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>

[try #6] Move the Ext2 device ioctl compat stuff from fs/compat_ioctl.c to the Ext2 driver so that the Ext2 header file doesn't need to be included. Signed-Off-By: David Howells <dhowells@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Jens Axboe <axboe@kernel.dk>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
