2005-10-21 | [PARISC] Take into account nullified insn and lock functions for profiling | Randolph Chung | |
export profile_pc() symbol - oprofile needs it when built as a module. Signed-off-by: Grant Grundler <grundler@parisc-linux.org> Take into account nullified insn and lock functions for profiling This is needed at the end of functions; it is typical that the return branch nullifies the next insn, which is in the next function. This causes profiling data to show up against the "wrong" function. We also count lock times against the locker. This is consistent with other architectures. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip! |
