2007-05-02[PATCH] x86-64: adjust inclusion of asm/vsyscall32.hJan Beulich
Avoid including asm/vsyscall32.h in virtually every source file. Signed-off-by: Jan Beulich <jbeulich@novell.com> Signed-off-by: Andi Kleen <ak@suse.de>
2006-09-26[PATCH] Remove all ifdefs for local/io apicAndi Kleen
IO-APIC or local APIC can only be disabled at runtime anyways and Kconfig has forced these options on for a long time now. The Kconfigs are kept only now for the benefit of the shared acpi boot.c code. Signed-off-by: Andi Kleen <ak@suse.de>
2006-04-26Don't include linux/config.h from anywhere else in include/David Woodhouse

2006-01-14[PATCH] mark several functions __always_inlineIngo Molnar
Arjan van de Ven <arjan@infradead.org> Mark a number of functions as 'must inline'. The functions affected by this patch need to be inlined because they use knowledge that their arguments are constant so that most of the function optimizes away. At this point this patch does not change behavior, it's for documentation only (and for future patches in the inline series) Signed-off-by: Ingo Molnar <mingo@elte.hu> Signed-off-by: Arjan van de Ven <arjan@infradead.org> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@osdl.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>
2005-09-12[PATCH] Replace extern inline with static inline in asm-x86_64/*Adrian Bunk
They should be identical in the kernel now, but this makes it consistent with other code. Signed-off-by: Adrian Bunk <bunk@stusta.de> Signed-off-by: Andi Kleen <ak@suse.de> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@osdl.org>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
